August Glam Bag!

I finally got my ipsy  for August! This months ipsy is all about good vibes. I’m all for it! I rate every ipsy bag on a 6 star scale. For more information on what ipsy is in the first place you can read my post on it here!

Ok, let’s get to it! The bag itself for August. I’m really not too crazy over it. It’s definitely not something that I would use or would have ever picked out myself.

I did get a new eye shadow/highlighter in my bag and it was a shade I had never gotten before. It’s a perfect shade for my skin tone and it’s very well pigmented. If you want to try out this shade you can get it in the full pallet theBalm Balm Voyage 2 Palette!

Next up is a blush. Seraphine Botanicals Ginger + Gold Illuminating Peach Frosting Blush – Vegan Cheek Color 0.11 oz. The Botanicals Ginger + Gold will work out great for a soft and natural, glowing look. It’s not very harshly pigmented but it gives your skin a nice little shine and sparkle to it.

Promise Organic Nourishing Coconut Milk Face Lotion with Hibiscus. I was a little bit disappointed that I got another lotion in my bag. I’ve received more than enough in the past, but with that being said, this lotion was wonderful! Promise Organics is of course an all natural line, which I love! I’m pretty picky on scents and this lotion smelled amazing. It’s soft and clean, nothing too harsh.

The fourth item I got was another make up brush. Nothing new there, but who doesn’t need more make up brushes? The Glamour Dolls Romantic Rose Blending Brush is beautiful to look at and gets the job done. I don’t have the link to this product but you can find it online!

Last but definitely not least, Steve Laurant Precision Tip Eye Liner in Black. I really wish I had the link for this product because it is great! It goes on smoothly and creates a perfect tip for winged looks. The only complaint I have with it is that it could be a little more black.

Overall I’d say this ipsy bag gets 5/6 stars. A star for each product, but it did not receive a star for the bag itself. I’d still say this was well worth my $10! Read again for next months bag! Let me know if any of you guys have tried ipsy or have any other subscription services you use to try out new products.
