If you are skeptical of mixing salty/sweet flavors, this recipe might be a new adventure for you, but I promise it is worth trying! I too used to be unsure about mixing salty/sweet but now it’s one of my favorite flavor combos.
1/4C of Blueberries
1 5oz Can of Tuna
Jalapeños (as many as you like)
Green Olives (as many as you like)
1 Bowl of Fresh Spinach
A Sprinkle of Honey Roasted Sunflower Seeds
A Sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese
Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing (as much as you’d like)
Start by rinsing the spinach (enough to fill a bowl). Place the spinach in a bowl. Open the can of tuna and drain it. Use a fork and scatter the tuna over the spinach. Next, place the blueberries, jalapeños, and green olives over the tuna. Now, drizzle the dressing over all of these ingredients. Sprinkle a handful of the parmesean cheese and finish with a dash of the sunflower seeds. This salad is so delicious and a flavor roller coaster in your mouth!
