Funky Fourth

Usually every Fourth of July I either buy a new 4th shirt or I make a new 4th shirt. This year, because I’m trying to be more conscious about what I’m buying, I decided to work with what I already had. The results were well worth the extra thought rather than the extra $$$ I would have normally spent!

Fourth of July Make Up

I’ve also been trying to wear less make-up. For the 4th look I decided to get a little funky with it. I wore a bright red shade of eye shadow all over my top lid. Then, I used multiple blue shades under my lower lash line. I did a light blue towards the inner corner of my eye and a darker blue towards the outer corner. I used my go-to highlighter on the corner of my eye and right under my brow. Last, I swiped a gold liner over my top lash line. Of course finishing withΒ Buxom Lash Mascara (0.37 fl. oz.) – Blackest Black! Buxom Mascara is the only item that I will spend a little more on than normal. It’s the absolute best mascara I have ever used. You can use the link to get it at a discounted price!

Fourth of July Outfit

Now for my outfit I was lucky enough to already have an adorable red leotard and some white shorts. I added some festive scrunchies on either wrist and my All Star Chuck Taylor Lo Top (4 (MEN) / US, NAVY)Β navy blue Converse. I’ve loved Converse since middle school and thankfully my feet haven’t grown since then, so now I have a pretty nice collection. You can also get a nice, cheaper sneaker at Target or Walmart for under $15.

All in all, this outfit worked out perfectly for the holiday and I didn’t have to spend a dime! Let me know what you guys think!
